Once we’re there, we will stay 4 nights for 5 days of enjoyment. That’s the initial plan, which means you’ll be able to customize your stay with less or more days. No problem! Just let us know when planning your trip.
We will visit the must-see: the Pómez Stone Field, Carachi Pampa, the Salar del Hombre Muerto, Volcán Galán and the Mineralogical Museum of Puna; always accompanied by a guide who will take us into the history and culture of each place through their knowledge.
The walk continues in El Peñón, where we will have a stay of 2 nights. There, we will visit the majestic Laguna Blanca Biosphere Reserve. However, there is the option to stay in Antofagasta and visit the reservation from there; but the distance is double, it will take 8 hours of travel. Then we continue to Bethlehem, two hours on the way. In this city we will stay 2 nights to get to know El Shincal de Quimivil, the famous ruins of the passage of the Inca Empire through the province. Once we complement the tour with other sites around you, we finish the adventure with the transportation to the airport of your choice.
This same itinerary can be done the other way around. We organize it to start with nights in Bethlehem. Then we would go up the RN 40 to Las Juntas, pointing to Antofagasta de la Sierra. If you wish we can stop first in El Peñón and finish the tour in Antofagasta de la Sierra. In short, the trip can be adjusted to your needs.
