In this order of ideas, each of the best itineraries in Tucumán include: air tickets, transportation, accommodation, excursions and food, simplifying the whole process of putting together a journey. Which could be tiresome for those who don’t know how to. Look and choose:

    ·         ITINERARY NATIONAL HISTORY AND GREEN LANDSCAPES

For those who have few days available and are mainly interested in history, we recommend a three-day, two-night itinerary (with the possibility of adding another night if wished). Mainly, you visit the capital of the province San Miguel de Tucumán and its surroundings.

You will know the Historical House Museum, of great importance to Argentine history since it was there were the Signature of the Act of Independence was held on July 9, 1816. Our guide will accompany you throughout the tour of this place, emphasizing the famous “Room of Jura”.

Having the opportunity to visit such a significant place for our nation is not granted every day. This act set the course of the country, hand in hand with the courage and determination of great characters of the time. If you want to know more, check out our top 5 best museums of Tucumán.

The tour continues with a visit to Yerba Buena, a town near the city of San Miguel where you can appreciate the typical landscapes –leafy green hills– that depict the province. There’s also a visit to Cerro San Javier where the famous Christ is located and gives us one of the best views of the city.

This alternative includes air tickets, transportation, excursions, walks previously mentioned and accommodation. We also always offer the possibility to add nights or activities if you wish! Just contact us and our advisors will organize it. Take advantage and see the accommodation options in our top 5 of the best hotels in Tucumán province

    ·         TUCUMÁN CLASSIC ITINERARY

This itinerary is recommended for those who have the possibility to travel to Tucumán for a minimum of four days and three nights, all in San Miguel

Depending on your arrival time, the first activity in the province may be a visit to the Historic House Museum and the center of the capital, San Miguel. The next day, after breakfast, an excursion is made in Yungas where we visit El Cadillal, Raco and Siambon. The day ends with the return to the capital.

Third day includes a visit –with our guide– to Tafí del Valle, touring the most important points of this town such as: Cerro de la Cruz or the nearby village of El Mollar

Tafí del Valle not only adds a new destination on the itinerary, but gives us one of the most beautiful landscapes of the province: the one that contemplates the journey between San Miguel and Tafí del Valle. The experience of moving between what looks like a green and winding forest is really special and unique.

You will also visit the famous Quilmes Ruins and the beautiful Salteña city of Calafate. This package includes air tickets, three nights’ accommodation in San Miguel, breakfast, transportation, guides and all excursions mentioned above.

    ·         TUCUMÁN IN FULL

If you have availability to visit Tucumán for at least four nights, we recommend this itinerary, more extensive and complete. In addition to visiting San Miguel and Tafí, it includes a tour of the Calchaquíes Valleys and the famous Quilmes Ruins

To make this tour you need an additional night in Amaicha del Valle or Tafí del Valle, you can choose the destination you prefer and coordinate it with our travel specialists. The idea is to complete the experience since the landscape changes a lot between the route that leads from San Miguel to Tafí del Valle and the one that goes from Tafí to Amaicha.

To sum up, it is very interesting to see how the horizon changes from a lush green with hills to a much more arid environment with gray, reddish lands and other vegetation.

Our guide accompanies you on the visit to the Quilmes Ruins, which is ideal to get to know a little about the local history. After all, what today are ruins used to be a civilization with its own customs, culture and religion.

The experience is great, complete and also includes: air tickets, transportation, guide, breakfast and all the excursions and walks that we already mentioned to you.

    ·         SALTA, JUJUY AND TUCUMÁN

Perfect for those with much more time. This 7-night itinerary is a 3-in-1. What you understood: you’re going to tour three provinces in one trip.

In this case, the tour starts in Salta with the reception at the airport for the transportation to the hotel at the capital of this province. There you will spend the first night.

The adventure begins the next day with a City Tour. You will have free time to visit the places you want and from there you travel to Purmamarca, where the famous Cerro de los 7 Colores awaits us, a hill with such beauty that will surely take your breath away.

During your stay in Jujuy you will also visit San Antonio de los Cobres and Salinas Grandes. You cannot miss the excursion to the Humahuaca Quebrada and then return to Salta and continue on your way to Cafayate. Finally, Cayafate’s journey to San Miguel de Tucumán takes place, passing through the Ruins of Quilmes and Tafí del Valle

As you’ll see, it’s a super complete itinerary. Like all of the above, the package includes air tickets, transportation, lodging, breakfast and excursions
