The Fiesta Nacional de la Empanada includes all the gastronomy of the province, with presentation of local and national artists who add even more fun to the festival whose central activity is the National Empanada Championship. The contestants participate with recipes typical of this Tucuman delicacy, trying to create “The Queen of empanada”.

It should be noted that, in addition to having the opportunity to taste this Tucuman delight, you can enjoy many other recreational and cultural activities that are organized year after year. This includes sports competitions where the winners are awarded with the Golden Empanada. All this is achieved with the contribution of the community. •         National Lemon Festival

Tucumán is widely recognized for the production of lemons, of excellent quality and flavor. Not for nothing is this province home to the National Lemon Festival, with which the provincial trajectory is enhanced as an outstanding producer of this citrus fruit.

This festival held for 40 years, takes place in Tafí Viejo at the foot of green hills that give extra beauty to the typical event of the month of November.

But what is the National Lemon Festival? The program includes cultural activities by local and national artists, musical shows and the selection of the Queen. All in honor of lemon and the possibilities of development and growth that it gives to the province due to its commercialization.

This fun party ends with the delivery of the Golden Lemon, a recognition given to local personalities highlighted for their contribution to the Tucuman community.

•         Pachamama National Festival

Undoubtedly one of the most famous festivals at the national and provincial level is the Feast of the Pachamama. It is held in Amaicha del Valle, usually at the end of February. The idea of the celebration is to worship Mother Earth, the Pachamama.

We are talking about the oldest festival in the province of Tucumán, bringing together singers, craftsmen, dancers, cooks and other personalities who want to bring this celebration to life.
